Jazz Revival

The Jazz Revival kicked off in the 1980s when a bunch of keen musicians decided that the best way to feel like part of the swingin' past was to don berets and start blowing horns once more, much to the delight of those with a taste for vintage vinyl. Characterised by a delightful mix of traditional swing, bebop, and a smattering of modern influences, it often sounds like a polite yet spirited conversation between musicians who might have had too much coffee. While purists may roll their eyes at its retro charm, it certainly brought jazz back into the mainstream, reminding us all that some trends, much like bad hats, never really go out of fashion.
