Guajira

Guajira music originated in the coastal areas of Cuba, combining Spanish and African influences, and is essentially what happens when the Caribbean gets a bit cheeky with flamenco. It features lively guitar strumming, infectious rhythms, and lyrics that could make even the most stoic person want to dance, or at least tap their feet awkwardly. This genre has not only made waves in Cuba but also inspired various Latin music styles, proving that when it comes to rhythm, a little bit of mischief goes a long way.
