Electronicore

Electronicore, which emerged in the early 2010s, is that delightful genre where metalcore meets electronic dance music, bringing slightly aggressive guitar riffs to a party that no one really asked for. Think of it as if your favourite heavy band decided to invite a DJ to their rehearsal and, whilst the guitars shred, various synths twinkle merrily over the cacophony; it’s a sonic tug-of-war between angst and ecstasy. Some might say it's perfect for headbanging whilst also trying to manage a very enthusiastic two-step, if that's your sort of thing.
