Deathgrind

Deathgrind emerged in the late 1980s, primarily in the United States, when metalheads decided that playing fast and grim was simply not enough, so they started blasting their music with a side of grindcore chaos. It sounds like a caffeine-fuelled jackhammer colliding with a death metal band having a very bad day, characterised by rapid tempos, guttural growls, and a propensity for songs that are extraordinarily short yet devastatingly intense. If you're ever in need of a suitable soundtrack for a particularly aggressive round of house cleaning, this genre might just be your new favourite instrumental motivator.
