Anarcho Punk

Anarcho-Punk sprang up in the late 1970s, primarily in the UK, when a bunch of fed-up punks decided that playing three-chord songs about rebellion had to include a bit of actual rebellion. It sounds like a cacophony of raw energy, with growling vocals, thrashing guitars, and lyrics that could make your grandmother faint, all whilst holding a side of political pamphlets. You could say it’s the soundtrack for every age group yearning to overturn the establishment, until they realise too much chaos might get in the way of their tea time.
