Jim James

Jim James is an American singer-songwriter from Louisville, Kentucky, who began his career in the late 1990s and is best known as the frontman of the rock band My Morning Jacket, working across rock, folk and indie genres. His music blends reverb-heavy vocals, psychedelic and country influences, and in both his solo work and band projects he has explored electronic textures and more introspective songwriting, engaging with contemporary indie rock and Americana traditions.
