Mikko Innanen

Mikko Innanen is a Finnish saxophonist and composer who emerged on the Nordic jazz scene in the late 1990s and works primarily within jazz and improvised music. His music blends composed structures with free improvisation, drawing on modern jazz, contemporary composition and experimental approaches, and he has been active in a range of small ensembles and collaborative projects across Scandinavia and beyond.
