Paul Plimley
Paul Plimley was a Canadian jazz pianist and composer who began his career in the 1970s and became active in the Vancouver and Toronto improvised-music scenes. His work combined composed material and free improvisation, exploring extended techniques, unconventional harmonies and rhythmic approaches while situating him within Canada's avant-garde jazz community.
