Raôul Duguay is a Québécois poet, singer and composer from Quebec who began his career in the 1960s within the province's avant-garde and folk circles, working across experimental, spoken-word and popular music forms. His work blends poetry, vocal experimentation and electronic and acoustic textures, evolving from folk-inflected spoken-word into more experimental and theatrical compositions and intersecting with Quebec's cultural and political movements through the use of neologisms and performance art.
