C. Spencer Yeh is a Taiwanese-American experimental musician who began releasing music in the late 1990s and is best known for his long-running solo project Burning Star Core, operating within noise, free improvisation and electroacoustic genres. His work blends intense analogue distortion and feedback with vocal and violin improvisation, later incorporating quieter textural pieces, field recordings and electronic manipulation to explore timbre and extended instrumental technique.
