Aurèle Nicolet

Aurèle Nicolet was a Swiss classical flautist who began his career in the mid-20th century and specialised in solo, chamber and orchestral repertoire. He combined traditional technique with an engagement with contemporary music, held teaching posts at European conservatoires, and contributed to the expansion of the flute repertoire through performances and premieres.
