Barnes & Barnes are an American novelty rock and experimental synth-pop duo formed in Los Angeles in the 1970s. They combined surreal, comedic lyrics with home-recorded electronic production and lo-fi experimentation, and across the late 1970s and 1980s their material circulated on comedy radio and college stations, placing them within the novelty and comedy music scene.
