Jacques Hétu

Jacques Hétu was a Canadian composer and music educator from Quebec who established his career in the mid-20th century, working primarily in contemporary classical music. His music blended traditional forms with modernist techniques across orchestral, chamber and vocal works, and he contributed to the expansion of the Canadian contemporary classical repertoire.
