Frank Black

Frank Black (born Charles Michael Kittridge Thompson IV, 1965) is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist who records and performs under the stage names Black Francis and Frank Black; he co‑founded the alternative rock band Pixies and has pursued a solo career since the early 1990s. His work spans alternative and indie rock and frequently draws on surreal imagery, biblical references and pulp‑fiction themes.
