The Haters

The Haters are an American noise and performance art group formed in San Francisco in 1979 that emerged within the experimental music and underground art scenes. Their work emphasises durational, process-driven sound events using amplification, found objects and audience participation, and has intersected with Fluxus and conceptual art practices while being disseminated through limited-release recordings and performance documentation.
