Rytis Mažulis

Rytis Mažulis is a Lithuanian contemporary classical composer who emerged in the late 20th century in Vilnius, working within modernist and post-minimalist idioms. His music is characterised by rigorous formal structures, an economy of musical material and repetitive processes that often favour consonant sonorities, and he has been part of the Baltic new-music context that broadened Lithuania's contemporary music scene.
