Giovanni Battista Ferrandini

Giovanni Battista Ferrandini was an Italian Baroque composer born in Venice in 1710 who established his career in the mid-18th century, working primarily in opera, serenatas and sacred music while serving at the Bavarian court in Munich. His work blends Italian operatic traditions with German courtly tastes, reflecting the stylistic transition from late Baroque to early Classical idioms and the cultural exchange between Italy and southern Germany.
