Mark André

Mark André is a German-born contemporary classical composer who began his career in the 1990s and has worked primarily in chamber, orchestral and electroacoustic music while based in France. His music emphasises extended timbral exploration, spectral and microtonal techniques and the integration of electronics and voice, and has evolved from intimate chamber works to larger-scale staged and operatic pieces within the contemporary European new-music context.
