Astronome is a 2006 John Zorn album, the second instalment of his Moonchild project, composed for Mike Patton (voice), Trevor Dunn (bass) and Joey Baron (drums) and released on Tzadik. It presents wordless vocals, bass and drums in an avant-garde/experimental rock and noise idiom, and later served as the score for Richard Foreman’s stage work Astronome: A Night at the Opera.
