On an Overgrown Path is a cycle of piano pieces by Czech composer Leoš Janáček, composed between 1900 and 1911. The music is characterised by folk-inflected melodies, terse rhythms and abrupt harmonic turns that blend intimacy with moments of dramatic intensity, and the cycle documents a transitional phase in Janáček's development toward his mature compositional voice.
